Ricky Dean Wyrick is an award-winning artist, poet, photographer, and author of the new novel Bag of Lies. With a unique style, Wyrick’s writing features thought-provoking ideas with unexpected wit, creating an enjoyable adventure with unusual depth. The native-born Texan intertwines his creative approach to faith-based fiction with his uniquely designed Hand Painted Digital Art. Characters from his latest novel are occasionally discovered lurking in the background of his hand-crafted canvas paintings. Living with the challenges of Dyslexia, Ricky overcame his academic struggle. He earned his Bachelor’s degree from Dallas Baptist University while completing his film studies at LAFSC in Los Angeles, California. Although he enjoys handheld puzzles and sleight of hand magic, his greatest passion lies in the wonder of a well-told story. Often asked if he is an artist that writes or an author that paints, Ricky usually smiles and answers, like anyone who thinks outside the lines, “I do what I do.”
